NASDAQ IPO Roadshow
VTEX
How do you turn technical documents and commercial presentations into a clear, visual, and engaging story? That was the challenge we faced when creating the Roadshow Film for VTEX — one of the world’s leading digital commerce platforms — during its IPO process on Nasdaq in 2021.
Running 30 minutes, the film was the centerpiece of VTEX’s presentation to global investors. Our role was to transform the content of the F-1 form (the mandatory filing for IPOs) and the company’s commercial decks into an audiovisual narrative with an entertaining pace, accessible language, and sophisticated visuals. The goal was to reveal the company’s journey, technology, culture, and vision for the future — maintaining the accuracy of the information while adding a layer of storytelling that could engage viewers from beginning to end.

Produced during the pandemic, the project involved hybrid filming across six cities: Rio de Janeiro, São Paulo, Bogotá, Mexico City, New York, and California. Direction was done remotely, with local crews executing the filming under the guidance of Grupo Sal’s team. We were responsible for the entire creative development — from scriptwriting, creative direction, and visual identity to animated illustrations, editing, and final delivery. One of the main challenges was to visually explain the concept of a composable platform — a modular system that adapts to each client’s needs. All of this was done with special attention to cinematography, sound, and post-production, to ensure high-end, informative, and immersive content.

The film featured testimonials from VTEX’s founders, leadership, and key clients. In addition to explaining the product, it also revealed the company’s culture and its Latin American origins — marked by doing more with less, through creativity, resilience, and a global perspective from the very beginning.
VTEX’s IPO was a success. The company raised R$1.9 billion on its debut on the New York Stock Exchange, exceeding expectations and solidifying its role as a global infrastructure player for e-commerce. The Roadshow Film played a key role in this process — helping translate complexity into clarity, and positioning VTEX with the strength of a well-told story, delivered with quality and precision.
